Mallabhum Institute of Technology was established in the year, 2002. This is one of the oldest private engineering colleges of West Bengal.

On its way forward, it has achieved many milestones. The passed-out students of this Institute are scattered across the globe and serving various organizations. Some of the students are working in India in highly respectable positions and thus serving the mother India with their own capacities.

Since the inception of this Institute, it has focused on the proliferation of technical education amongst the underprivileged communities of the locality.

The campus is situated amidst a green pollution-free environment which contributes to the development of mind and body. However, the college is an important entity specially in the western region of the state, West Bengal.
