Haldia Institute of Pharmacy (HIP) established in 2018 under Indian Centre for Advancement of Research and Education (ICARE), aims to nurture and produce disciplined pharmacists who are exposed to all aspects of pharmacy profession.

This society (ICARE) is managed by Board of Governors comprising of eminent personalities who are great visionaries to create at Haldia a modern education centre of excellence to provide value-based education of international standards and with a motto to march ahead to build an ideally developed Haldia.

In view of the noble objectives of the society, it gets support from the local Municipal Authorities, Haldia Development Authority, as well as from the industrial and business houses in and around Haldia.

The campus is spread over an area of 3.01 acres.

It is situated in a calm, peaceful and pollution free environment.

The campus is equipped with modern labs, class rooms, seminar hall, library, student centre for co- curricular activities, computer lab, academic and administrative blocks and other amenities for exclusive and widespread provision for indoor and outdoor games.
